This a Museum Quality wood hand built (by myself), model of the H.M.S. Bounty's Launch, 1789. The scale if 3/4" =1'. Length: 17-1/4", Height from bottom of keel with masts: 14-3/8", Beam: 5-3/8". The Model kit was from Model Shipways and retails for $120.00. This is not a mass produced model ship, it is my hobby, I am a disabled Vietnam Vet, I live in an RV thus I can't keep it once it is finished (no room). I have to sell it before I can build another model. I build them to, Museum Quality. I have been building museum quality ship models for 20years. This Launch has been portrayed in many "Mutiney On The Bounty" films. Captain Bligh and eighteen others were set adrift in the Bouny's launch, while Fletcher Christian and the rest of the mutineers made their way to Pitcairn Iland. Included are: the Launch, 2 large water barrels, 6 provisions barrels, 10 oars, a carpenters tool chest, 1 graphel anchor, cradle and kit plan and instruction manual (includes a short history of the mutiney) .
