There is a human like form jumping toward the driver. This mola typifies the period molas by having a very creative interpretation of the subject matter. Also molas of this period are characterized by a spontaneity and openness of interpretation, as well as a folk art joyous quality. This mola has all the best elements in being a top notch collector's piece. The textile construction shows 12 fabric color cloth layered elements in Limey Green , Yellow , Red , Green , Maroon , Olive Green , Navy Blue , Pink , White , Purple , Light Blue and Black. The smallest fabric detials measure about 1/16" and many of the smaller elements are also oversewn and embroidered with comlimentary thread colors. The cart decoration squares and wheel details are all fabric contructed and undersewn as are the vertical and horizontal and diagonal ones. The cart horizonal colorful decorations above the wheel are thread sewn. The eyes are fabric thread overlayed and below are subtle multi colored looser stitching for effect. read more
