Beautiful! Museum reproductions, Egyptian Amulets! Interchangeable earrings set. 3 different choices to wear....gold toned metal. Very Royal looking.....Symbols worn for protection and joy. Interchangeable amulets represent some of the symbols most commonly found in ancient Egypt. They were often pinned onto Mummies for protection in the afterlife. The Ankh: a sandal strap and hieroglyphic symbol for " Life", also promised the bearer endurance and welfare. The highly regarded scarab was related to the sun god, resurrection and eternal life. The Cat, admired for it's virility and strength, was related to the goddess Bastet, protector of women and associated with joy, felicity and family closeness.Nice items! All sales are Final.
