MXL 991Wide Cardioid Pencil Condenser Microphone Description The MXL 991 is a small-diaphragm condenser mic with a fixed cardioid (described by MXL as “wide cardioid”) pickup pattern.The gold-sputtered diaphragm is 6 microns thick and measures 20mm in diameter. The capsule, and in fact the circuit design, match the MXL 603S , although the vendor’s published frequency charts describe the 991 as a much brighter mic, with a +3dB point at ~5k and +5dB at ~9k. This mic is brand new, never used and comes with a mic clip but does not come with packaging. It is in perfect condition. I do not ship internationally so please do not bid if you are outside the US.
