Of the men who died at the Little Big Horn, Keogh has taken on an importance only to George Custer. Keogh, in many cases is held up as "the Bravest Man", based on Indian oral tradition. Of course, all remember his horse Comanche who was the only 7th Cavalry horse to survive the Little Big Horn Battle.
