Up for auction is a lovely vintage porcelain hand painted figurine of a ballerina in a pink lace dress. Unfortunately, she is missing one arm, and the tips of four of her fingers on her hand. That is why the opening bid is low and t is no reserve price! She is 4" tall and 3" across at the widest point of her skirt. She has lace at the neckline of her dress. The front of her dress at her waist is painted pink with a section of turquoise, and t are two black hearts painted within the turquoise. The front of her lace skirt is dotted with applied flowers and t is one flower at her chest. Her head is tilted to one side. She has on maroon shoes and is standing on a white base with one foot raised in a ballet pose. She is missing lace on the back of her skirt at the bottom of the skirt (see close-up photos) and in four tiny spots around her skirt (nothing too obvious). The base is accented with gilt. The blue backstamp mark has the crown over the letters M Z and IRELAND DRESDEN just beneath. This mark has been used since 1962 when the factory relocated from Germany to Ireland. Good luck bidding and thanks for looking.
