This item is a piece of rough Nacozari Turquoise from Sonora Mexico. This piece is a large slab flat on both sides. This piece has been stabilized but the color is natural. The dark lines and shading in this material is raw copper. It is quite hard and polishes to a brilliant shine. This piece measures 2 3/4 x 2 1/2 inches and is 5 mm thick. I use a bright light to take the auction pictures and most of the rough pieces are wet to better show the colors and patterns. This rough will cut some nice cabochons or maybe just a nice addition to your collection. The picture below is the actual piece you are bidding on.
