You are bidding on a Nadal porcelain figurine called "Pausing for Reflection". This is 6.5". Nadal is one of the leaders in the production of Spanish Porcelain figurines. Founded in 1915, the Nadal Porcelain company is probably the oldest contemporary fine porcelain manufacturer in the Valencian region of Spain. These gorgeous figurines were not introduced to U.S. markets until 2000. Little is known about Nadal outside Europe, but collectors who encounter Nadal on the secondary market are intrigued by it and impressed with its obvious quality. Each Nadal porcelain figurine is painstakingly crafted entirely by hand. From the original sketches and sculpture of the original mold, the production of molds, the figurine assembly and each brushstroke of glaze, each step along the way is an individual, artistic task performed by gifted artisans. Because of this, t are no two Nadal procelains that are identical, each is an original piece of art. This is brand new, in original box with tags.
