NAGOYA ARSENAL Japanese WW2 BAYONET & SCABBARD from ARISAKA 99 SNIPER'S RIFLE NR NO RESERVE!!! We are pleased to offer this JAPANESE WW2 bayonet and scabbard which is the NAGOYA ARSENAL variation and was discovered on a ARISAKA Model 99 SNIPER'S RIFLE which also bears Nagoya Arsenal markings. The bayonet is marked at its ricasso with the typical NAGOYA mark of an "upside down snowman" within a circle, which is adjacent to a star which contains the letter K (see pics) . The TYPE 30 bayonet with its "hooked" quillion has no serial numbers. The bayonet alone measures 20" with a blade length of 15 5/8". The scabbard is made of steel with a ball finial. Overall when the bayonet is in the scabbard the total length is 20 11/16''. CONDITION: Complete and original throughout but for one sharpening of its original bllade edge. The blade of the bayonet is has a "mirror" surface, with a RAZOR SHARP and EDGE. The overall condition of the bayonet and scabbard is well documented in our many detailed photos.
