This is a Nailsea glass flask with trailed decoration.It is 7” long, 3 and 3/8” wide and is 1 and 3/8” deep.It is a handsome piece of glass with intricate decoration.There are no chips or cracks to the main body, and the pontil is ground smooth.However the spiral overlay has 5 or 6 flea -bite sized pieces missing. Where the combined packed weight would exceed 2 kilos, separate parcels works out as the cheaper option.The postage/shipping prices quoted include all postage fees and the cost of packing materials. Particularly with glass and ceramics, this may involve additional packing to ensure that the item arrives in one piece. This adds both to the weight of the item and the costs because I have to pay for the packaging materials. I try to keep the packaging costs to a minimum, but I guarantee it will not exceed UK£1 per lot, and in most cases is much less, particularly when I am combining lots and packing them in one parcel.
