Vintage set of two (2) 1930's men's 1-piece underwear - NAINSOOK UNION SUIT, B.V.D. Corporation, sz. 46 REG., in original partial box and with original paper label which reads: Tested-Approved, Guaranteed Washable By your Local Laundry Belonging to American Institute of Laundering and, with original cotton nainsook red lettering label sewn inside neckline which reads: MADE FOR THE B.V.D. BEST RETAIL TRADE. Outside label on the partial original box reads: NAINSOOK UNION SUIT, THE B.V.D. CORPORATION, Made in U.S.A., Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. Size 46 REG. Lot 1, Half Dozen. Originally, evidentally t were 6 in this box. As you can see, t is only a partial original box left and the logo tissue paper, and t are 2 union suit 1-piece underwear folded up. T is age browning in places (see photos). I'm selling this piece as I found it and, I have not tried to clean or launder this item. The pieces have been folded up neatly and stored away for many years. They will probably clean up once laundered. Otherwise, excellent condition and t are no tears, rips, holes, damage or repair to the 2 pieces as they still have original tags and, have never been worn. T is elastic through the chest area in the front and back (see photos) and t is a button on the open-up back flap; 6 buttons on button up front.
