Brant Point Lighthouse - Nantucket 1820 Beautiful Scrimshaw scene set in Museum Matt and mounted on fiber paper. Framed size is 10.75" x 12.5" ( Deep Matt cut out 3.5" x 5.5" ) Cost of custom framing and matting alone is well over $150 exclusive of the Scrimshaw. Scrimshawn Art is 2.75" x 4.25" and the scene is Schooners and Whalerships passing the Brant Point Light in 1820 . Scrimmed in Lamp Black Ink with great detail and historic significance ! The Scrimshaw scene of Old Nantucket Lighthouse is done on polymer and is very fine artwork! also listed from our Family's Collections are.... But when it was nearing time for the Captain, his ship, crew and cargo of whaleoil to return- everyone gatd day after day upon the "Crow's Nest" to get the first signting of "their ship" and their loved one's return.
