This is a very scarce set of soldiers made by the Irish company, The Warrior Irish." It depicts the Napoleonic Irish Legion- the only non-French unit to be given an Eagle! They were a group of Irish volunteers who served France during the Napoleonic Wars. Some Some volunteered during the Peace of Amiens. Some were Irish Nationals who escaped after being pressed by the Royal Navy. Ultimately, they included Poles and people of other nationalities, but their hearts and Flag were Irish! To my knowledge, this is the only available figure of an officer with their standard, which included their Eagle. The figures are about 1/32nd scale, and are extremely well made and beautifully painted. They depict three men of the Legion: an officer with their standard, an infantryman, and Pioneer. The figures have never been displayed, and have been part of my personal collection for more than 10 years. I have never even put the standard into the officer's hand, so the paint is quite literally mint. They are seldom if ever seen in the US.These are from my personal collection, and have never been displayed. These are HEAVY! I have included a postage ESTIMATE for overseas, but expect the customer to pay the cost of postage. Packing is free, and we do not profit from shipping.I will not ship to the Russian Federation.Auctions must be paid for within three read more
