Up for bid is one of the most popular railroad historical books. This book is popular with railroad enthusiasts and historians alike, and it is a fine example of railroad narrative and history. The book is in absolutely pristine condition and the original printed drawing of "Narrow Gauge Railroads in Colorado since 1870" is still folded neatly in the back cover. This book was published in 1958 and it looks as if it hasn't been opened since that time. This is truly a beautiful book. This is also the limited "Cigar Board" edition. It is one of only 850 ever printed, and is signed by Lucius Beebe and Charles Clegg. It is copy number 28. Beebe and Clegg wrote many books on railroads and their history, but this is arguably their most popular and desired. No reserve.
