NARROW GAUGE NOSTALGIA BY GEORGE TURNER LIMITED FIRST EDITION #389 HARDCOVER SIGNED BY AUTHOR Publisher: J-H Publications 1965 hardcover, limited first edition signed by author, 159 pages. Covers the Nevada County Narrow Gauge, Diamond & Caldor, Bodie & Benton, Merced Gold Mining, Carson & Colorado, Brookings Lumber & Box, Mt. Lowe Railway and Plaster City. Full of detailed descriptions, photos, illustrations, maps and rosters. Very rare in this condition. Ebay grading does not quite fit at times. This book, obviously, is not new due to its age, but is mint or near-mint so 's my description: The book itself is mint. Pages are clean, bright and unmarked. Dust jacket is mint as well. Note that previous owner did place a 'from the library of...' sticker in it - a testimony to its condition. I have only run across a few of these limited editions and this is by far the best.
