Although this magazine is 64 years old, several of the stories are on subjects generating interest today: America Needs Lotteries; "Is Your Phone Being Tapped?"; and "Catch that Bass!" This magazine features a great cover picture of the great Ted Williams. Other major stories are shown on the scans. The low price of this magazine is because the 4-page center section is missing, which included the Williams story, a calendar girl, and a color picture of an old-time fighter. The cover maintains great color. There is some spine wear, a faint name stamp in the upper left corner of the cover and a "5" in pencil on the upper right corner. The staples are in tight, but 4 smaller staples have been added - which can be removed. Will ship in a postal tube.
