Native American EagleClaw Effigy Ceremonial Pipe/Canupa By Gregg V Rasor.Stone is Steatite Soapstone there are a lot of other pipes out there that are calling there pipes Steatite but this is authentic Steatite purchased from a supplier of Geological specimens supplied to colleges around the country! What makes authentic Steatite such a great pipe stone is it carries the highest crush rating of all soapstone!Steatite is also the preferred stone for pipes of my tribe!Pipe is approximately 4 7/8" long by 3" high by 2 1/8" wide.Bowl is approximately 7/8" in diameter tapered to 1/2" by 1 1/2" deep and comes with a screen!Pipestem nipple hole is approximately 3/8" in diameter.Artist is Assiniboine Nakoda Native from Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes in Wolf Point Montana.
