Southwestern Native American Indian turquoise fish scale channel inlay Sterling silver watch tips, unmarked but either Zuni or Navajo. The Zuni silversmiths are known for their superb inlay craftsmanship, but for some time now, artists from different tribes have been learning each other's skills and creating a style of their own. In this piece, the artist opted for a flush mount turquoise-only fish scale channel inlaid mosaic, with rustic silver channels. The mosaic is framed by a nicely filed silver border. The pair weighs approximately 21 grams, and each tip measures about 1 1/16" in width at the watch end tapered to 13/16" in width at the band end, and almost 1 3/8" in length from end to end. Nice patina.Thank you for supporting authentic Native American art.
