Native SilverSilver King Mine, Pinal Co., Arizona3.7 x 2.8 centimeters An excellent miniature sized specimen featuring Native Silver from the famous Silver King mine in Pinal Co., Arizona. This specimen features a rich patch of Silver wires nicely centered on the display surface of matrix. Smaller clusters of wires can be found in many areas around the specimen. A sizeable and rich example from this classic locality. The Silver King mine was the richest silver producer in Arizona's history. Operations began in the 1870s and ended abruptly in 1888. Specimens are extremely difficult to find today and highly coveted by Arizona collectors. The Tucson show is underway! The hectic nature of the show means that I will not be able to ship for the duration of the event. I will continue listing new finds from the show. I would ask you to please pay promptly so that I can invest every dollar into inventory for the coming year. I am listing many rare species and unusual locality specimens this week, all starting at just one dollar. I'm happy to combine shipping for multiple orders! Be sure to add me to your favorites list !
