Fresh out of the estate I'm liquidating comes this oil/kerosene lamp. ( Please feel free to email me and correct me if I'm calling this lantern wrong, but I believe it's a nautical lantern(?).) Nonetheless, this beauty is all original and has a twist in burner which is signed: E. Miller Co. made in USA the wick holder is signed: simplex. Nice ribbed clear glass shade measures 3 1/2" tall X 3 1/2" wide with no damage whatsoever. Base has 2 round hooks and the cage has a solid hanger.Entire lantern measures 11 1/2" tall from base to top hanger and the base is nearly 5" round. Overall in outstanding original condition, I did not clean anything, this is straight from the shed w my client say's it's been hanging for at least the last 40 years. T is normal age discoloration and a few old paint drips on this lantern but no dents or damage. This will make a great addition to your collection with NO RESERVE BIDDING! Plus,if you or someone you know collects vintage bird calls, I will be listing a lot of 3 from the same estate. A beautiful F.A.Allen, Monmouth,ILL call and a Darrel B. Foss Quail call from Venice California. Yes, I do combine shipping too! NOTE: I've have had several questions from ebayer's regarding the metal of this lantern and I believe it to be brass under the patina, including the burner. T were places w I could see the brass.
