This Beaver State Pendleton Blanket was previously owned and pawned by a Navajo in the Gallup/Grants area of New Mexico. This blanket measures 64" by 80" and has a black background, with tan, burgundy, red, green, gold and orange in the pattern with black binding. It is one of the heavy winter woolen blankets. This blanket is in good condition, with no holes, stains or pilling. It does have about eleven small spots of moth damage (please see pictures). They are all on the mostly black side of the blanket and most of them are only visable up close. Of course it has its original Pendleton Beaver State cloth tag. This is called a robe , meaning that it does not have fringe, and was worn and used by a man or boy in ceremonies (the women's blankets are called shawls, and have fringe). Pendleton manufactures these blankets primarily for the Native American people. These blankets come in a wide range of vibrant colors. The blankets I am listing have all been used and pawned and not redeemed. For many of the Navajo population, pawning their personal items is a way of life. Occasionally items pawned are not picked up. This would be nice for anyone appreciative of the Native American culture/traditions. High bidder to pay $10.00 to ship via UPS insured in the contiguous 48 states, if you are high bidder on more than one blanket, we will read more
