Here is a lot of 2 Navajo saddle blankets .The first pictured is a saddle blanket measuring 28 inches wide and 57 inches long. The weave of the rug is nice and tight and has a weft to warp count of 24 to 7. It was woven on the Navajo Nation and is woven of nice wool that is a Churro/Merino cross. The colors in it are brown, white, and cream it also has four ply GERMANTOWN light green and red. This Saddle blanket is in ok condition with the three holes that you can see in the pictures and some light soiling. The biggest hole is in the fifth picture and is 8 inches by 3 inches at its biggest point. This blanket is woven in the same pattern as the first phase chiefs blankets and would repair and clean up nicely and is worthy of doing so.This rug is woven on what appears to be three ply white germantown witch is old and dates the blanket before the 1900's. This is a great collectors piece that just needs some work. (see pictures 1 threw 6) The next 6 pictures are of a single saddle blanket measuring 26 inches wide by 29 inches long. The weave of this rug is nice and tight with a weft to warp count of 22 to 6. It was woven on the Navajo Nation of nice Churro wool in colors of white,blue,red,orange and natural black/brown.
