do not know the year of make, guess it is the late 70's to early 80's from made in usa ,but not sure.new old stock, i think is made by creighton in usa, or a subcontractor there are no labels inside showing maker or fabric content.brass ykk usa. this is not a reproduction, but is also not issued, was made i believe as an official substitute pair of pants the sea man/officer could buy at the local army/navy store(many existed then),or px.to replace the issued garment i have been told by an ex officer that these where more expensive than the official issued ones, but the issued ones where not wash and wear or as easy to take care of. this one was also or only sold at navy exchange, the store for sailors that only sailors and their families can shop at. fabric is fabric is known as tropical and is 65% poly&35% wool . original sizetag is on. make and tailoring is not like they make pants usual today. the waistband is as a dress pant consturcition and there is fabric there, to be able to let the garment out an inch-2 or so if wanted(also usual at this time. flat front ,no pleats. 2 on seam front pockets, 2 back slit pockets one with a button that closes. waistband is 1.75" and belt loops are 2" , single needle construction(expensive make). from top of waist to bottom of crotch =13". pant leg opening at bottom, around is 19". pant is unfinished. read more
