This “Flight Training Notebook” is a hard cover binder from the collection of Wayne G. Booze, WW II US Navy pilot. It‘s a hard cover 3-ring binder and contains lessons and manuscripts on a wide selection of subjects. Among them: safety precautions, basic flight rules and emergency landing information. Eighteen pages are in meticulous handwriting of the “Fundamentals of Naval Service” (written by fellow student A. Duttenhofer); 23 pages of mimeographed worksheets on the theory of flight, tower and line signals and engine malfunctions; 7 pages of handmade line drawings of various kinds and styles of aircraft; 15 pages of math and other subject examination papers, and 20 pages on various subjects such as ship identification, officer recognition and theory of flight. Overall, the binder and its contents are in good condition. NOTES: The binder itself shows signs of handling with bent corners and stained spine. Some of the pages inside are folded, somewhat tattered and have bumped corners. Please examine the photos and ask questions before bidding.
