Up for auction is a PROVIDENCCE COLLEGE FRIAR Basketball Bobble Head of MarShon Brooks. This RARE bobblehead is NEW in the original box. Brooks is a second year NBA player, currently playing for the Brooklyn Nets. MarShon was selected 25th overall in the 2011 NBA draft by the Boston Celtics, who then traded him to the New Jersey Nets. This is a RARE bobblehead and will certainly be a collectible with MarShon's continued success! COLLEGE: MarShon’s senior year at Providence College was one of records. As a senior, he averaged 24.6 points per game, leading all Big East players. He also led his team in rebounding at 7 rebounds per game. MarShon was also second in the nation is scoring. He was named one of 20 national finalists for the 2011 John R. Wooden Award. MarShon was named to the the First-team All Big East and the Associated Press Third-Team All-American. His 468 points for the season puts him first all time in the Big East for regular season scoring. Contributing to that record was another record, the most points scored in a single Big East Game. On February 23rd, 2011, MarShon scored 52 points against Notre Dame University, a Big East record.
