The Ark of the CovenantFor sale is a very old and beautiful engraving by Nicholas Chapron that is from his 1649 book/collection of 54 engravings "Sacrae Historiae Acta". He styled these pieces after the famous Renaissance artist Raphael.This would perfect as framed artwork. And it's a great conversation piece, considering you are framing something that is nearly 400 years old on your wall.The sheet size of the engraving is ~15" x 11".Again, this engraving is from the ORIGINAL 1649 book and is therefore 367 YEARS OLD!I will ship in a rigid, acid-free packaging to ensure optimal protection of its quality and crispness.NOTE: The last 2 picture listed shows the two title pages for reference of the title and date. ***these two pages are not included in this particular auction***Photos were taken by me, and therefore what is depicted in pictures is actual quality and appearance.
