Here is a very fine, neat and attractive 1937 first-flight cover from Aberdeen to Shetland in Scotland. The flight from Aberdeen to Sumburgh took place on 22 Nov and the cover has a neat single ring backstamp of Lerwick of the next day. The cover has an attractive two-colour cachet. The cover is in very fine condition and clearly was carefully handled. It is addressed to James MacMahon Esq, c/o GPO, Shetland. I had several of these but this is the last one properly done with an Aberdeen postmark. The placement of the stamp differs slightly from the one in the scan. Fine items in a popular collecting area. I had a few of these but this is the last one. This lot has been relisted at a reduced price. I do not relist items indefinitely but return them to my show stock. As I now have an eBay shop anyone who purchases one of my items might want to look there before paying. Additional postage is free for subsequent purchases unless they are too big for my normal, very low basic rates. See my other items ! When payment for lots won is received by teatime British time (the servants usually dish it up about 4:30) I normally post the item the next morning -- weather permitting. Our village post office is closed on Saturdays, however, so if you pay on Friday the item cannot go out the following Monday.ref S126
