NEBRASKA Authentic 124-Year-Old Antique Map Printed in 1885, this gorgeous color map of the State of Nebraska is 124 years old. It measures about 11 1/2 by 13 1/2 inches (about 29 by 34 cm), and it is in FINE condition. Counties, cities and villages, and routes of old railways are shown, as well as topographical features and latitude and longitude. Terrain elevations are marked with hachures, as was the practice in 19th Century cartography. The entire map is surrounded by an ornate decorative border typical of finer maps of the Victorian period. This is a guaranteed genuine antique map!It ships complete with Certificate of Authenticity documenting source, maker and date of printing. This map is printed on a single sheet of stock. T are no folds, creases or marks, and the paper is clean and not brittle. A similar map of Kansas is printed on the reverse.
