Negretti and Zambra- Original Vintage Pocket Weather Forecaster (Complete) Hi, you are bidding on a vintage, original Negretti and Zambra Pocket Forecaster in excellent condition, unusually, complete with instructions! First patented in 1915 by Negretti and Zambra, it was designed to accurately predict the weather using wind direction and barometer readings which are then set by two rotating discs, revealing a letter code corresponding to one of 26 forecasts printed on the reverse. It was originally designed using previously collected weather data, and has been found to be over 90% accurate! To buy one on certain vintage scientific intrument sites, just google " Negretti and Zambra Pocket Forecaster", would cost anything from £95 to £150, increasingly rare, ones that are available tend to be missing instructions and have extensive damage to the box. _gsrx_vers_473 (GS 6.4.1 (473))
