NOUVEAU 1905 HH DINNER KNIVES 9 3⁄4âe SET/6 âeoeNenupharâe a WORLD BRAND- AMERICAN SILVER CO., âeoeNouveauâe circa 1905 tribute of one most beautiful flowers on earth, Nénuphar (aka The Water Lily)- A. S. Co. Founded in 1901, successors to Holmes & Tuttle, acquired by the International Silver Co. in 1935 , a difference from other patterns of about the same time as popular as this one, even the most common pieces in this pattern as is the HOLLOW HANDLE DINNER KNIFE 9 3⁄4âe offer in this auction in a SET/6, are rather scarce and simply NOT AVAILABLE at antique silver replacements stores, a set in a good to a very good condition, NO monogram, I am particularly impressed with how the blades finish have survived keeping a mirror finish, even with the ordinary wear that old French style blades show most of the time mainly on the spine, edge and bolster, they kept most of its original plating, NO pitting, you can appreciate still the A. S. CO. stamp, each piece show knicks on the side of the handles as shown in the piece before the last one in the 2 nd picture, however this comes to be a nice and clean hard to find set.
