Thanks for looking at this extremely nice condition and rare Kennedy Bros. WW II fighting knife from St. Paul, MN. It has been in my personal collection for over 30 years. I bought it from the original purchaser who bought it from Kennedy Bros in the early 1940's. He thought he was going to be drafted during WWII so bought this knife at Kennedy Brothers as he knew there was a shortage of knives for the military. As it turned out he did not go due to a deferment and it was not used. I purchased it from him in the early 1980's. It has never been offered for public sale. It is probably one of the nicer ones that has ever been offered for sale as it was never carried or used. One side in picture looks like not as much blueing but just the lighting. Unique grind. There is a bit of white tarnish on the bottom of the brass guard from sitting all these years. I did not try to remove it. I sell my items as they are. I will leave up to a new buyer if they wish to clean. It has never been determined who made these knives for Kennedy Bros. but they are professionally done. This example is marked KENNEDY ARMS ST. PAUL on the brass guard and the top most read more
