CUSTOMIZED Goldberg Movie Reel End Table This auction is for one new customized Goldberg Brothers 35mm Movie Reel End Table , which is a functional decoration for your Home Theater or your Media Room! The table is 23" tall (measured from the floor to the top of the glass) and is 16" wide (measured across the diameter of the glass top). Use it as a resting place for your remote control(s), phone, beverage, and/or popcorn! The fancy ALUMINUM 35mm 2000' Goldberg Brothers art deco reel is like new, so it didn't need a refinishing process (i.e., silver paint) to cover any scuffs/dings/dents/rust from theater usage over time. It only has some light oxidation which naturally occurs and can be buffed away. The cast aluminum reel is very sturdy, and is 15 inches in diameter. The reel's interior edge has a custom professionally-printed "filmstrip" decoration, available in many styles (see photos). STYLE 1 looks like a blank filmstrip with white cels, for a clean and classy look; see my other auctions for the availability of this style STYLE 2 looks like an old film leader with the sweeping countdown sequence (10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... 0...); see my other auctions for the availability of this style STYLE 3 features your custom message spelled out in the filmstrip cels (35 character maximum) with a brushed-aluminum-colored background; configure yours to say "WELCOME TO OUR HOME THEATER" or something like "THE JOHNSON FAMILY THEATER". This is the style being offered in this auction . The glass table top is made of 10mm (0.39") thick tempered glass with a beautiful rounded-off "pencil edge," and is 16" in diameter. This 16" size fits the reel perfectly with a flattering half-inch overhang, so t is not a dangerous overhang around the perimeter of the table that can be accidentally bumped by passers-by. This is a good size particularly if you have limited room for your tables. The 10mm thickness is much heftier and sturdier than quarter-inch glass, and the rounded pencil edge is much classier. The glass top rests on clear vinyl bumpers to protect the glass from contact with the reel, and to keep the glass securely in place. The base and the metal post of the table are finished in your choice of a black or silver satin color, with brushed steel accents. The table's base is weighted for stability. Want a taller display table instead of an end table? Turn your 23" end table into a 40" display table with the included post extension!
