You are bidding on a New Haven and Ansonia 8 day striking clock. I'm not sure if this is original or had been restored since the inside is all Ansonia parts. I'll try and describe what I can about the clock. I believe it's walnut. It stands 23 1/2" tall and is 14" across the bottom and 4 1/2" wide. This does work! It has the key! The back label says Day(the 8 is missing) Strking clock, New Haven Clock, New Haven, Conn.. The inside of the clock is marked with Ansonia Clocks, Pat, June 13, 1882. See photos as I think that shows up. The only thing that I can find wrong with the clock is that the latch is broken to open the front. It stays closed when sitting on a flat surface, but it is broken. The finials wobble a bit also, but you don't know that unless you touch them. This has nice engraved detail on the base. The clock is absolutely GORGEOUS! Please email me if you have any questions! I am now shipping WORLDWIDE so international bidders feel free to bid! Please see below to view my policies. Please email me before end of auction if you are inquiring about a less expensive way to ship(ie: first class mail instead of priority) Please email me if you have any questions. PLEASE READ BELOW BEFORE PLACING YOUR BID. THANK YOU! Payment terms and conditions: I accept Paypal, money order, and personal check(10 days to clear after check
