Ardor Meteora New and Unsmoked with sock and box. Ardor Meteora 3/4 Bent Pipe. Nicely done large pipe with neat carving and a Silver Band. (see pictures). Pipe passes a cleaner easily. Weight is 80 grams. This pipe is 6 1/8 inches long. The bowl is 2 1/2 in. tall. Inside dimensions of the tobacco chamber are 15/16 in. by 15/16 in. and 2 1/8 in. deep. Markings are Rovera, Damiano, Ardor, Meteora, Italy, Fatta A Mano, 2004. Bit is stamped Ardor, Silver Band stamped Ardor . Retail is $295. Our Opening Bid is $9.95 with a very reasonable reserve. Ardor has its roots with the Rovera family beginning in Varese, Italy in 1911. Originally four brothers (Frederico, Carlo, Cornelio and Franscesco) started the company which would become known as Ardor. The name "Ardor" is a combination of the initials of Dorelio Rovera's father Angelo Rovera "AR" and Dorelio himself "DOR".
