New York City dated 1909 STERLING SILVER Figural SOUVENIR SPOON commemorating Henry Hudson and Robert Fulton. This EXQUISITELY DETAILED 6 inch long tea spoon is CLUTTERED front & back with relief images of GRANT'S TOMB, portrait of PETRUS (Peter)STUYVESANT, the OBELISK, the STATUE OF LIBERTY, and HUDSON'S SHIP on the handle. Gracing the bowl is a large relief image of FULTON'S STEAM SHIP beneath portraits of Fulton & Hudson. Reverse of handle right above unadorned bowl is signed STERLING and t is a maker's mark R in a sheild flanked by a lion and a griffon. VERY GOOD CONDITION.
