You are bidding ontwo seperate partial sheets of "The Roosevelt Hotel" letterhead that have been signed by 10 members of the both the 1936 New York Giants (6), the Cleveland Indians (2) and two others I've been unable to identify. T are some tough signatures in the lot. They include: Giants - Firpo Marberry (D-1976, 147-89 major league record), Dick Coffman (D-1972), Jo Jo Moore (D-2001), Hank Lieber, Sam Leslie (D-1979), Frank Gabler (D-1967). Indians - Bill Knickerbocker (D-1963) & Loyd "Lefty" Brown (D-1974). Two other signatures I've been unable to locate background info on are "Smokey Joe Martin" and - best guess, "Daniel or David Hale" (third from the top on the first sheet). Some very tough signatures in the lot, particulalrly Marberry who was one of the first pitchers in the history of the game to be used exclusively in relief, leading the league five times in saves. He won 94 games as a starter and 53 as a reliever with a .644 winning percentage.
