This auction is for a vintage single page from the Baton Rouge State Times newspaper dated March 6, 1929. This entire 17"x 21" page is devoted to the new Super Ticker machine being used on Wall Street by the Stock Market. The headline across the top of the page says, " A SUPER TICKER TO SAVE WALL STREET." This new machine can print out 500 characters in a minute. The article says that this machine can be a great help for the " BOOM TIMES IN THE COMING MONTHS." The boom times would be over in just a few months. This would look nice framed for display.
