The unit is in very good physical condition as I think you can see, and the surplus info indicated it should theoretically be functional. But I have to assume that was before they yanked the hard drive. So at the very least you would need to replace the drive and reinstall the software (NOT included). So although I assume it could be refurbished it is NOT functional as is and is being sold for parts or repair only.Without a hard drive it can't boot up, as you can see I have forced it into the setup mode just to show the installed hardware. Otherwise untested, sold as is, and NO warranty is offered. However, IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it. Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases. Accepted Best Offers are strictly an as is sale, no returns allowed. Return would be for a refund of the purchase price, not including shipping costs.Just so that we are clear on that, this is an item that has not been thoroughly tested.
