"Can I Tell 'Em You're Still With Us? " Original 1945 U.S. World War Two Poster By John Philip Falter ((1910 - 1982) e Size 28 1/2" x 40" Many posters like this were produced by the American government during WWII to encourage support for the war effort on the home front. Civilians were asked to contribute by buying War Bonds, through volunteer work, and efficient work in the factories producing materiel for the military. The strong poster illustration of a U.S. Navy Signalman on this piece is by the well-known artist John Philip Falter. This original vintage war poster has been carefully preserved. It is in excellent condition over all except for a short tear at the top edge. This was repaired with tape on the back which has caused an area of show-through on the front. This is the final copy of this poster available from Emporio.
