NGC 25c 2000-P Massachusetts Reverse Outer Clad Layer UNC Reverse clad layer split off after strike with the reverse clad layer showing a strike on one side, but uniface on the other side. This is because the clad layer broke away from the coin after it was struck. There are traces of copper remaining on a portion of the clad layer.Very rare to find a separated clad layer, and probably only the 2nd or 3rd example we've ever handled.NGC Uncirculated details with damage (it is somewhat bent, probably from being stuck in some machinary or something similar.)About: Sullivan Numismatics is a company dealing primarily in U.S. mint errors and varieties, and has been in business since 2003.
