This is a New In Box, Ultra Rare "Kyo" Super Constellation, otherwise affectionately known as the "Connie", C/L Scale Competition kit from the Kyosho Corporation of early 1950's post-war Japan. This huge airplane has an 73-1/2 inch wingspan with a 67-1/2 inch long fuselage. It was originally designed to fly control line with 4 Enya 29 2 cycle glow engines, but you could easily adapt it to RC with today's modern gear. This kit has not been started. The box is in pretty shape for a 60 year old kit as you can see in the pictures. One end has ripped and been taped. There is some red hand print writing on top that says Constellation, Connie as well as the label side says 73-1/2 but the label is still attached. It comes with 2 giant size building plans and instructions printed right on the plans, which was the norm for that era. There are tremendous high quality machined hardwood engine mounts, machined plywood and balsa fuselage and wing parts, along with scale sprung landing gear with scale wheels, 4 spun aluminum engine cowlings, one of which is a little bent, see picture, plus clear plastic inside cockpit vacuum formed window piece as well as clear plastic sheet material for the long rows of passenger windows.
