new NIB pair of Russian 6550 Vacuum tubes $39/pair, in original boxes. Both boxes were marked 85/9.1 Ag by the vendor, so they are tightly matched. I believe this is plate/screen current.Box says 6550-WE Russia, Probably Sovtek 6550WE'sThe Sovtek 6550WD and 6550WE were designed to be the finest 6550's ever produced. Thicker plates, improved heat dissipation, higher transconductance, and increased linearity are just some of the innt aspects of the new Sovtek super 6550's. The resulting performance advantages include 5% higher output power, increased reliability, greater headroom, and superior tone. The 6550WE features a metal-ringed base for increased power-handling capabilities. Tube indicates 6550A 6550WB.I bought them NIB a about 2 years ago from who now sells 6550EH'sMCM in service parts company, their tubes used to be all rebranded, but these 6550's likely were Sovtek 6550-WE's made a few years ago.
