For auction is a large nice GAR (Grand Army of the Republic) 26th National Encampment held in Washington DC in 1892. It is very colorful and graphic with the little tassel on the end still intact. I think the ribbon is made of silk. It does appear to have some color run thats occurred over time on the cloth as can be seen in the listing photos. Still a very nice ribbon that would make a great additon to any civil war collection. I had this ribbon listed earlier but the listing was pulled by ebay due to them claiming it was listed in a wrong catagory. Sorry for any inconvience this may have caused if you were an earlier watcher. I have had this ribbon in my own collection for many years and have always enjoyed looking at it. It provides us with such a wonderful window into our nations past. I took several photos so be sure to check them out. One of the photos is of the back side of the ribbon. Starting bid of $49.95 with shipping being $4.50 by first class mail which includes insurance equal to your winning bid. Paypal or Postal Money Order but a paypal account is needed to bid.
