Hen & Rooster Stag Handle Hunting Knife Bertram Cutlery 542 DS Solingen, Germany Beautiful Hen & Rooster Hunting Knife, overall length: 10-1/2" 6" Mirror polished Stainless Steel blade Stamped on one side of blade is Hen & Rooster logo with the words "SOLINGEN GERMANY" Stamped on other side of blade is "BERTRAM CUTLERY 542 DS STAINLESS" Stag handle with small inlaid medallion with Hen & Rooster image Brass finger guard and butt, fringed sheath This fixed blade hunting knife is from the collection of David G. Aarhus, a well-respected knife collector, frequent exhibitor at knife shows in North Dakota and beginning knife maker. His ebay seller ID was "Deerhill Knives" with 100% positive feedback and his business name was "Turtle Mountain Military Collector". He collected and maintained all his knives with great skill and care. I do not know if this knife was ever sharpened, but if it was, it would have been done expertly. I don't believe this knife was ever used but I'm not completely certain. This is a very sharp, solid, clean knife that would make a fine hunting companion or a special addition to your collection.
