Hi, I have a great Nicoya blue jade pendant for sale. This ancient artifact was made by the Nicoya Culture of Guanacaste Province in Costa Rica and dates toAD. This ancient jewelry pendant was carved from blue jade in the form of a stylized fish. The eye is a conically drilled hole that is also for suspension. The mouth and tail details were bow cut. This stone has a great color and form. The blue jade was revered by ancient culture as a healing stone. This ancient jewelry artifact is a wearable part of history that could be used in a jewelry piece, or just string it by itself on a necklace. This is a very nice artifact that displays very nicely and would be a great addition to any collection. This is a great piece of history, that can now be yours.
