Halloweentown with Movement, Light and Danny Elfman!This is an original 2003 Nightmare Before Christmas Halloweentown Disney Store snowglobe. It was sold to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the film's release. It is hand-painted and made of glass and resin. The theme of the snowglobe is the opening celebration scene from the film in Halloweentown. Almost every single character is present, even the oddball ones! See all the photos to find your favorite.......It is a very animated, fun snowglobe, my favorite of all the Disney NBC ones. Jack Skellington stands under the bell shaped glass next to the Halloweentown fountain, this portion of the globe lights up from below causing the fountain to appear as if the water is glowing and running green, Jack is illuminated by the green fountain light and he twirls in circles as Danny Elfman's "This is Halloween" plays. The glitter "snow" is iridescent green. It is a 3 tiered snowglobe, the top is Jack as described above, the second tier is all the random characters gathered around, some climbing on a wall to see Jack's performance. On the lower tier, all around the base, is a moving portion that circles the whole globe and depicts Lock, Shock and Barrel in their claw foot tub chasing mean old Dr. Finklestein, the Evil Scientist, around the celebration, him in his wheelchair.
