You are looking at a beautiful Hand Painted Dragonware Moriage Cup Tea Set .Set includes:4 cups 6 saucersTeapot with lidSugar bowl with lidCreamerBox with 2 ashtraysIt was made in Japan by Nikoniko China. They are painted black and pastel coloring and decorated with raised moriage. T is a lithophane of a Nude Geisha Woman in the bottom of cups( my pictures don't do them justice). The cups stand about 2" tall, the plates are 4.5" in diameter. The teapot is 8" tall with lid and both the sugar bowl and creamer are about 4" tall. Teapot, sugar bowl, creamer and saucers are marked on the bottom : Nikoniko China and an E inside of a wreath Handpainted Japan. Some pieces have some wear. Sugar bowl lid was glued back together and t is a chip on the bottom edge of one of the saucers. All in all a beautiful piece to use or display!!Also I have a dragonware box with 2 ashtrays inside. The box is about 2" tall and 5.5" long. A corner of the foot of one of the ashtrays has broken off. These pieces are marked ACRA china in a wreath and below it, Japan.
