This is an absolutely stunning chocolate pot made by Nippon. It almost looks like enamel-ware and not porcelain, but it is a pure white porcelain with navy blue detail and vivid, gorgeous blue birds. The painting detail is just perfect, not sloppy or blurred as you sometimes see. Just as clear as it can be. T are no nicks or cracks on any of the pieces. These are in terrific, display perfect, shape. T is one small, flat, white and VERY difficult to see chip at the back of the mouth of the pitcher. I looked at this three times before I saw it, and I was looking hard. The chocolate pot measures approximately 7 1/2" tall and 4" in diameter. The cups are approximately 2 3/4" tall and 2 3/16" in diameter. The saucers are 4 3/4" in diameter. Each of the pieces is clearly marked with the rising sun in green with "HANDPAINTED" over the top and "NIPPON" underneath. We just found a small hairline on one of the saucers next to the bird. It is also difficult to discern, but it is t THE WINNING BIDDER OF THIS AUCTION WILL RECEIVE A NOTIFICATION OF SHIPMENT AND A CONFIRMATION NUMBER WHICH WILL ALLOW THEM TO FOLLOW THEIR ITEM UNTIL IT IS DELIVERED TO THEIR DOOR!
