Vase Up for sale is a beautiful piece of decorated Nippon. This vase is done in the very rare Cloisonne decoration with actual enameled metal applied to the vase. Examples are seldom seen today. This decoration has a stunning floral and leaf decoration. The vase measures approximately 7 1/2 inches high and 3 1/2 inches wide. Unfortunately, the vase is damaged. There is a repaired 1 inch chip on the rim. Stemming from that chip is a hairline which runs about 4 1/2 inches down the vase. There are no other damages. There are some scratches and small wear marks on the satin finish. It has the Handpainted Japan mark with a flower. That most likely dates the piece to around the end of World War 1 when the Nippon mark was dropped. The piece was too nice and rare to ignore so it may still be nice as an example or to repair. This would make a fantastic addition to your collection. Handling time will be 5 days or less after payment has been made and/or cleared. Your items will be shipped promptly.
