A spectacular two-handled Nippon Noritake 10" vase with a hand-painted design of "Man on Camel" with desert scene, tent, palm trees and fire, featuring an elaborate gilt and cobalt trim to the rim and base. Blue "Noritake / MADE IN JAPAN" with komaru symbol on base or "Noritake #228", used from 1908 on.The condition is excellent, with no apparent loss of gilding to the trim or handles.
